Access and use of this Web Site by you is governed by the following terms and condition of use (“Terms and Conditions”). By accessing and using this Web Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, accept, and will be bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you are unsure of your obligations relating to your use of this Web Site, you should seek appropriate legal advice before proceeding to access this site. CI reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions, at any time without notice

CI grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this Web Site and not to download or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of CI. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this Web Site or its contents. This Web Site or any portion of this Web Site may not be exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of CI.

Approved Master Installers

Upon submitting your ‘Register Your Interest to Become A Master Installer’ form, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions become effective once your submission has been accepted and approved by CI.

Upon agreeing with these Terms and Conditions you are also agreeing to be part of the of the Master Installer National Warranty Repair Network.

By agreeing to become a Master Installer you agree:

  • CI may advertise your company details on www.masterinstaller.com.au through the Master Installer Search Function.
  • To take on any work as instructed by CI as a preferred Master Installer within 5 business days of receiving the instruction.
  • To ensure the work is carried out to expected standards and all relevant practices and procedures have been followed as per CI’s verbal, digital and technical advice.

To opt out of being enrolled into the National Repair Network you must respond in writing to CI within 14 days of being accepted into the Master Installer programme.

  • It is at the sole discretion of CI to terminate any Master Installer’s participation in the programme, thereby ending all programme benefits from termination.
  • Any existing valid extended warranty submissions will be upheld by CI notwithstanding your Master Installer status is terminated.
  • CI reserves the rights to cease the Master Installer programme without notice or reason.
Master Installer Warranty Conditions

CI warrants all its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period based upon the following terms and conditions:

  • To be eligible to receive an Extended Warranty for the period of 5 years or 50,000 kilometers (whichever occurs first), a warranty certificate must be fully completed, uploaded, and registered at www.masterinstaller.com.au within 14 days of the completion of work.
  • CI, CI Heavy Duty, and 4Terrain brands Installed by a Master Installer appointed by CI is covered by a 5 year or 50,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) warranty from date of purchase. This includes parts and labour for the period of 5 years or 50,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first).
  • The Extended Warranty policy does not extend to Mantic Clutch Kits. For the Mantic warranty policy, please visit www.mantic.com.au
  • CI will replace products at no charge if found to be defective during the Extended Warranty period. If CI is unable to provide a replacement part, it may authorize reimbursement for an equivalent replacement part.
  • CI will not reimburse a Master Installer financially for any replacement part unless authorised by a CI.
  • All approved claimed labour will paid at a rate $100 plus GST per hour for the VACC recommended repair times.
  • All approved claimed labour reimbursement payments will be paid directly by CI to the Master Installer’s bank account details as provided on the warranty claim form.
  • All payments will be made within 30 Days of claim approval.
  • Making a Claim:
    • All claim lodgments must be submitted online at www.masterinstaller.com.au.
    • You must register your claim by selecting one of the two Claim methods specified below. Claim lodgments must be accompanied with Vehicle and Customer information as instructed.
  • Claim Methods
    • Express Claim
      • Approval at the sole discretion of CI
      • If accepted, a replacement part will be provided subject to availability
      • Replacement kit will normally be dispatched within 1 business day after approval
      • Once the claim is submitted no further compensation can be claimed thereafter
    • Full Claim
      • Approval at the sole discretion of Clutch Industries Pty Ltd
      • A CI technician will organise collection of the subject part within 2 business days
      • Assessment of your claim may take up to 7 business days after the subject part has been received at our CI Melbourne technical centre
      • If the claim is approved, you will be sent a replacement part and compensated for removal and replacement at the rate specified above. No further compensation will apply.
      • If the claim is rejected, you will be provided with an assessment report via email and no compensation or replacement will be issued.

CI Extended Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including wear and tear of any friction materials forming the surface between the clutch disk and pressure plate or used as a component of the product;
  • Any defect or damage caused by a collision or other accident;
  • Any defect or damage caused by the failure to store, handle, install, assemble, maintain or use the product in accordance with CI’s instructions or specifications, including but not limited to: (a) modification of the product in any way; or (b) installation of the product in a vehicle where such installation is not in full compliance with the instructions and specifications of the manufacturer of that vehicle
  • Any defect or damage arising directly or indirectly as a result of racing or competing in the vehicle in which the product is installed
  • Any defect or damage arising directly or indirectly as a result of the failure to use and install an appropriate scatter shield
  • This warranty will be VOID automatically if in CI’s reasonable opinion the product has been subject to any unreasonable use, misuse, negligence, fire, or accident; or the product has been modified, repaired or dismantled without CI’s prior written authorization; or any CI part has been replaced with a non-CI part. CI reserves the right in its sole discretion to inspect, evaluate and test the purportedly defective product in any way deemed appropriate by CI, and then make the final decision as to whether the product in fact is faulty or defective in material or workmanship.
  • This warranty is intended to be exclusive of any other warranty, whether express or implied by law. We make no other express warranties, nor is anyone else authorized to make any express warranties on our behalf.
  • CI products come with warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also be entitled to have a product repaired or replaced if the product is not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

WARNING: DO NOT USE ANY CI PRODUCT IN VEHICLES WHICH HAVE BEEN MODIFIED TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM ENGINE RPM(S) BEYOND THAT WHICH WAS SPECIFIED BY THE ORIGINAL VEHICLE MANUFACTURER WITHOUT FIRST INSTALLING APPROPRIATE SAFETY EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRANSMISSION GUARDS, AS SUCH USE MAY CAUSE THE PRODUCT TO EXPLODE UNEXPECTEDLY CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DEATH.
